Guest Star Goodness: Person of Interest “Witness,” Burn Notice “Damned If You Do,” and Grimm “Bears Will be Bears”

Last week there were a couple of double headers on a few of my favorite TV shows; and by that I mean two great guest stars on each of the following shows:

Over on Thursday’s episode of Person of Interest, actors Enrico Colantoni and Enver Gjokaj appeared as a high school teacher who turned out to be more than he seemed and a member of the Russian mob respectively. Most TV viewers know Enrico best for his roles on Veronica Mars and Just Shoot Me while Enver was a regular on Dollhouse and guest starred on Lie to Me, Chase, and Community.

Its November sweeps and that means lots of great faces showing up on our favorite TV shows. And here are some of the familiar faces who popped up on my favorite shows:

First on Monday night’s episode of Castle on ABC, actor Dean Norris appeared as the emergency service leader who was overseeing the hostage negotiations with the bank robbers holding all of the bank staff and customers, which included Castle and his mother. Dean is best known for his role on Breaking Bad as well as recurring roles on Medium and CSI. He also had roles in the box office films Little Miss Sunshine, Total Recall and Terminator 2.

It Was So Good To See You (Week of August 21)

Each week it is always fun to see the familiar faces who guest star on my favorite shows. This past week was, once again, packed with some great actors and actresses.

Over on The Glades on Sunday night, there was actress Kayla Ewell, who starred as a bartender and night manager to a beach-front diner while actor Johann Urb played one of her presumed boyfriends.

As most TV viewers will recall, Kayla appeared in The Vampire Diaries, but she has also been in the day time soap The Bold and the Beautiful as well as episodes of Freaks and Geeks, The O.C., Entourage and Boston Public. She also recently appeared in the made-for-TV movie Keeping Up with the Randalls.
