Relationship Recap: Mike and Rachel, Suits

While there has been a ton of heat around these two as they danced closer to each other and then apart and then together again, what was most compelling to me in the second season finale was that before they hooked up in the file room, Mike told Rachel he loved her. Not in a straightforward hearts and flowers way, but in a long list of things he’d loved and lost and couldn’t add to by telling her then what she wanted to know, right there, that day. But then he did anyway.

2011’s Most Memorable Episodes: Suits “Dog Fight”

Suits was my favorite new show of the summer. Not only did it hook me in from the pilot, but it seemed to get better and more involving with every week. I was already a fan of Gabriel Macht and Gina Torres, but Patrick J. Adams was new to me. It would’ve been easy to pick any of this season’s great episodes as the most memorable, but there were a few things that happened in “Dog Fight” that made it a keeper on my DVR.

Heather’s Top 3 Summer Shows: #1 USA’s Suits

Last, but by no means, least, Suits is my #1 pick of the summer.

As y’all know, due to technical difficulties, a DVR hiccup at the beginning of August wiped out about two years of programming. Among the shows that went poof was Suits, which I’d been dutifully recording every week and kept meaning to watch but hadn’t gotten around to yet, and then the eps were gone. Something or other flipped a switch for me a couple of weeks ago when I saw they were double running them on Thursdays and I thought, what the hell, I’ll bite now and catch up later. Holy cats, y’all. This is some damn good TV.

My (Many) Thoughts on Suits “Rules of the Game”

  • Not sure if I’m Team Jenny or Team Rachel. I thought for sure I was going to be a Mike-Rachel shipper but I keep liking Jenny more and more each time she’s part of the action.
  • That young Harvey picture Rachel found is classic. His hair is like highlighted and a little bit in his face instead of that slicked back look he often goes with at work. You know his badass Harvey ‘do? The one that tells everyone to get out of his effin’ way? So happy to know he wasn’t always that put together.

High Quality
USA Network’s Suits has officially been renewed! The show received a 16-episode order for Season 2. This is pretty much a no brainer on USA’s part but it’s still awesome news since the hit series is one of the best shows of this summer. And if you’re not watching yet, it’s not too late. Reasons to tune in: 1) The cast is wonderful; 2) The cases are interesting and often exciting and don’t always take place in a courtroom, which is a bonus for those who aren’t normally in love with legal shows (like me); 3) The Gabriel Macht hotness; 4) The Harvey Specter-Mike Ross relationship that’s at the heart of this series; 5) The Patrick J. Adams hotness. TV Goodness highly recommends Suits which airs tonight at 10/9C on USA Network.—Tina Charles

Character Analysis: Harvey Specter & Mike Ross, Suits “Errors and Omissions”

The second episode of USA Network’s Suits was even better than the first which is always a good sign. We’re finding out more about what the characters are made of and that makes for great TV. Take Harvey Specter, played by Gabriel Macht. He’s such an interesting person. He immediately comes off beyond arrogant and as if he doesn’t care about anything or anyone but he also has this set of rules for himself that is surprising. In “Errors and Omissions” we find out Harvey doesn’t mess around with married women.
