Nikita Season 3 Finale Preview: “Til Death Do Us Part” [VIDEO and PHOTOS]

Til Death Do Us Part

The good news? “Til Death Do Us Part” is a season, not series finale. Yes, we’re getting an abbreviated season 4 but I like that we have a little more time to say goodbye to this great show. Having said that, what are we in for tonight?

Episode description:

Melinda Clarke’s Amanda forces Maggie Q’s Nikita into a life-threatening situation where she has to choose between saving Shane West’s Michael or saving herself. The team races to find a way to stop Amanda, but with a diminished Division, they might finally be out-gunned.

Nikita: “Intersection” Game Changer and “Aftermath” Preview

In a show like Nikita, fatalities happen all the time. It’s more of a game changer when one of the crew is injured because they have to come back from it, and the pace with which they do or don’t get back up speed affects everybody.

We’ve known for weeks that the season two finale was going to be epic, and we’d had the very bad cast tease us mercilessly there would be a body count. Well, they were right on both counts.

The series hit a reset in a major way, and if the CW had closed the door last week, instead of happily greenlighting a third season, we’d have been OK because it left with Nikita and co. alive and well and embarking on a daring new path on their own terms.

Heather’s 2011 TV Goodness All-Stars: Nikita’s Maggie Q

It came out this week that Nikita is the most GetClued TV show on the air, and with a rerun episode! Big ups! I came to Nikita late last year, after they put Nikita and Michael together, because I’m a sucker for Shane West like that (how is A Walk to Remember 10 years old?). I’ve stayed because West and Maggie Q are a whole lot of awesome.

Relationship Recap: Nikita and Michael, Nikita “Knightfall”

I came to Nikita late last season because it was a bit over the top with the violence while it searched for a tone, but I followed its press so I always sort of knew what was going on with the show. When it looked like they were going to pull the trigger early on Nikita and Michael getting together, I was all over it. I like my Shane West when he’s not playing a scary mean guy, which is how Michael was written for most of last season. He was hugely pissed off and the whole performance was about vengeance and rage, i.e. not a good time.

Fall TV Crush: Nikita’s Shane West and Devon Sawa

Nikita is back in action for Season 2 and we can’t be more excited about it. Being paired with Supernatural means Fridays on the CW will remain a double dose of action, thrills, drama and will continue to feature a maximum amount of hotness. Out: Smallville’s Tom Welling, Justin Hartley and Erica Durance. In: Nikita’s badass beauties Maggie Q, Lyndsy Fonseca and Melinda Clarke as well as two actors we’re crushing on big time.

Finale Watch: Nikita “Pandora”

Dear CW:
I know we’re about to find out soon since upfronts are next week but you really need to greenlight a Season 2 for Nikita. The finale set up so many interesting things, it would be criminal to end it all now. The episode was intense, had great drama and surprises. Other thoughts:

A Nikita Moment of Goodness between Michael and Nikita

Photo Credit: Ben Mark Holzberg/The CW

All season long, we’ve been teased with the power of Mikita. Yes, Nikita has occasionally flirted with showing us the potential of a Nikita and Michael pairing. The chemistry is there in abundance. Maggie Q and Shane West work really well together. Each episode I hope the show finds a way to get these two to share scenes. Usually, it’s in flashback or in some sort of fantasy, but in this week’s episode, the Mikita fans like me finally got what we wanted: an actual kiss. No fantasy. No flashback. Just an incredible amount of hotness.
